Dans, Cullberg, Cullberg dancers

Cullberg is looking for dancers to join its ensemble for the season of 2026-2027.

Cullberg is one of Sweden’s most well-known international dance companies. We present choreographers from all over the world and produce high quality contemporary dance. By daring to remain in the unknown we aim to challenge, expand and get lost in the possibilities of dance. By accessing new trails and collaborate with exciting choreographers we create dance that wasn’t there before.

Kristine Slettevold is the Artistic Director. Cullberg is part of the Swedish National Touring Theatre, Riksteatern.

“Dance is constantly changing, because it is rooted in the times we live in” – Birgit Cullberg, founder of Cullberg (1967).

We are committed to being an inclusive institution. We want everyone who visits or works with us to feel welcome, included and respected.

The 2026-2027 season will likely consist of new productions and tours of existing works by Halla Ólafsdóttir, Hooman Sharifi, Alexandra Bachzetsis, Renan Martins, Ligia Lewis and Faye Driscoll.

More information about Cullberg can be found on our website.
