Välkommen att ansöka om produktionsresidens för cirkus på Agora Kulturhus, Linköping 2025!

I arbetet med att stärka den nationella och regionala cirkuskonsten utlyses ett produktionsresidens för professionella cirkusartister. Projektet är ett samarbete mellan Agora Kulturhus, Riksteatern, Linköpings kommun, Region Östergötland, Nycirkus Öst, Riksteatern Östergötland och Riksteatern Linköping. Residenset ska ge cirkusartister en plattform för att utveckla sitt hantverk, främja samarbete och knyta an till lokala publikgrupper och regionala arrangörer.

Önskemål om annan period efter sommaren 2025 kan anges i ansökan.

Residenset erbjuder

• Två veckors produktionsresidens.
• Basutrustad teater/blackbox som kan inkludera enkelt ljus/ljud samt tillgång till en in-house-tekniker. Agoras tekniska rider
• Viss teknisk planeringssupport inför residenset och viss teknisk support under residenset samt ljus- och ljudutrusning.
• Fast arvode om max 80 000 kronor mot i förväg redovisad budget, teknisk specifikation och produktionsresidensplanering. Utbetalas mot faktura i samband med residenset eller enligt överenskommelse.
• Två enkla lägenheter belägna ovanpå teaterblackboxen i Agora Kulturhus.
• Visst boendestöd för övriga boendekostnader, om fler boenden behövs, bestäms i samråd med producenten.
• Residenstagarna förbinder sig att erbjuda ett publikt genomdrag av projektet samt ett konstnärligt samtal under en arrangörsträff i samband med residenset.
• Presentation av utvald artist/kompani på Riksteaterns hemsida för cirkusresidens samt på Region Östergötlands hemsida för cirkusresidens.

Ansökningskrav

• Produktionsresidenset på Agora riktar sig till cirkusartister, cirkuskompanier och/eller regissörer som är skrivna i Sverige och innehar F-skattsedel.
• Produktion du/ni ansöker med ska ha behov av att repetera 1:1 i en teater/blackbox samt ha en planerad premiär, speltillfällen, turné och/eller offentligt visningstillfälle.
• Agora kulturhus ska kunna stödja repetitionsarbetet tekniskt enligt överenskommelse.

Welcome to apply for a production residency
for circus at Agora Kulturhus, Linköping 2025!

In the efforts to strengthen national and regional circus art, a production residency for professional circus artists is hereby being announced. The project is a collaboration between Agora Kulturhus, Riksteatern, Linköpings kommun, Region Östergötland, Nycirkus Öst, Riksteatern Östergötland and Riksteatern Linköping. The residency will give circus artists a platform to develop their craft, promote collaboration and connect with local audiences and regional organizers.

18 - 31 August 2025.
Requests for other periods after summer 2025 can be indicated in the application.

The residency offers

• A two-week production residency.
• Basic equipped theater/blackbox that can include simple light/sound and access to an in-house technician. Agora's technical rider
• Some technical planning support before the residency and some technical support during the residency as well as light and sound equipment.
• Fixed fee of a maximum of SEK 80,000 based on a budget, technical specification and production planning for the residency. Paid against invoice in connection with the residency or by agreement.
• Two basic apartments located on top of the theater black box in Agora Kulturhus.
• Some housing support for other accommodation costs, if more accommodation is needed, to be determined in consultation with the producer.
• The residents undertake to offer a public presentation of the project and an artistic discussion during an organizational meeting in connection with the residency.
• Presentation of the selected artist/company on Riksteatern's website for circus residencies and on Region Östergötland's website for circus residencies.

Application requirements

• The production residency at Agora is aimed at circus performers, circus companies and/or directors who are registered in Sweden and hold an F-tax certificate.
• The production you apply with must have a need to rehearse 1:1 in a theater/black box and have a planned premiere, performance opportunities, tour and / or public screening.
• Agora Cultural Center must be able to support the rehearsal work technically as agreed.
